We'll Shakespear didn't use them but had he been around a few decades later then he'd probably have thought it to be revolutionary. Indeed they were at the time when they came out... promotional pencils I'm talking about of course! The vast array of colours and durability of them combined with their low cost makes printed pencils among the best value promotional products available on the market as has been the case for a long time. It's amazing to think that a piece of wood with a shaft of graphite down the middle could be of such long-lasting appeal but it's easy to see why when you think about it...
They're durable unlike some very cheap pens and can write for miles on end. If you have you logo printed on them, it can't halp but look good with the whole pencil covered head to toe in a vibrant colour. There are so many alternatives around now too including rainbow promotional pencils, recycled pencils, mechanical pencils and neon promotional pencils. there's even a funky pencil with a four coloured centre!
Branded pens are generally the stronger choice for promotional giveaways. They're reusable, work in offices, schools, and events alike, and keep your logo visible for months or years rather than being used up and thrown away. Pens also offer more customisation options — from metal finishes to soft-touch grips to colour-matched barrels — giving your brand a more premium, professional feel. Pencils still have a place for creative or eco-conscious campaigns, schools, or budget-friendly bulk orders, but for everyday brand visibility and longevity, pens are the more versatile and cost-effective option for most businesses.
